There may be circumstances preventing you, allow the week to be special: an extra moment of prayer, a thought for those less fortunate and most especially some time spent reflecting on the ministry of Jesus and you.
HOLY WEEK AT THE CHAPEL + CULTURAL CENTER
Sacrament of Reconciliation: Wednesday: 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Holy Thursday: The Agape, 6:30 pm.
Good Friday: The Service, 7:30 pm.
Holy Saturday: The Easter Vigil, 8:00 pm.
Easter Sunday: 9:00 am, 10:30 am and 5:00 pm.
HOLY THURSDAY (6:30 pm) — The Agape Meal will be served to the entire parish by the Pastoral Council, the Knights of Columbus, and those celebrating Confirmation at the Easter Vigil. This is intended to be a sign of their ministry in action. In addition, during the service, these individuals will have their feet washed as a symbolic invitation to all to accept a call to serve. A simple meal is being prepared. This will allow all members of the parish community to participate fully in this great celebration, from beginning to end.
GOOD FRIDAY (7:30 pm) — The Dramatic Reading of the Passion of Jesus and Communion Service.
THE GREAT EASTER VIGIL (Holy Saturday, 8:00 pm) — is always followed by a reception. We need desserts and the like – please bring the desserts when you join us, as we welcome new members into our community of faith. The reception is being coordinated by Mary Nagy.
EASTER SUNDAY — (9:00 am, 10:30 am Children’s Service and 5:00 pm Masses). There will be a newborn lamb at the 10:30 am Mass on Easter Sunday. Thank you Rosanne Rose!
